The belt filter press is one kind of solid-liquid separation equipment that is useful to separate the solid particles with size more than micron to millimeter from the liquid (water). The SN-DY series of belt filter press designed and manufactured by our factory is equipped with S-shaped arrangement of the pressure rollers, and the pressed material bears less and relaxed stress. It is not only suitable for the dehydration of organic hydrophilic materials, but also for the dehydration of inorganic hydrophobic materials. Due to lengthening the length of the press zone, this series of filter presses can perform dewatering on different types of materials. And it was practiced in the filter press dehydration fthe sludge dewatering industry, the mining industry and the chemical industry and has been unanimously praised by the majority of users. After the concentrated material are fully mixed with a certain concentration of flocculant in the static and dynamic mixers, the tiny solid particles in the sludge are coagulated into larger floc-like masses, as well the free water is separated, and the flocculated mud is transported to the gravity-dehydrating filter belt, then under the action of gravity, the free water is separated to form a non-flowing sludge, which is then clamped between the upper and lower mesh belts, passing through the wedge-shaped pre-pressing zone and the low-pressure zone. In the high pressure zone, the sludge is gradually squeezed under the action of extrusion force and shear force from small to large to achieve the maximum separation of mud and water, and finally the cake is discharged.
